Cold vs hot air-flow

I'm installing two A/C units and i have two outside air inlets. For the purpose of flow, is it better to have the units close to the ground so that the cold air pushes the hot air to the top and out a vent?

Thanks.

ideally u want to have the intake low to allow cool air in and u want it to be on the other side (if your exhaust is upper right u want intake on lower left )
u want the cool air to come in pass over all the plants and raise when it absorbs the ir heat from the light .......if u can have the air direct to be hide a fan in the area this off sets everything i just told u as long as the fan is moving spreading the cool air out

plus Co2 is a heavier gas (think oil and water) co2 is water and Oxygen is oil

so the lower the intake the more Co2 will be drawl into the area (honestly a finished basement fully underground is one of the best growing area) the Co2 we breath out from daily stuff will collect in the lowest point in the house

mine room naturally runs 500 to 700ppm of co2 due to this fact
