Color Blind Grower, trichomes color opinions needed.

Hey good evening Growers, my red green and brown don't work so well lol, I've had 3 people look at these White Widow fem trichomes and seems to them I'm mostly cloudy with 20% clear and 5% Amber, these WW sprouted March 18th and I called flower on June, 9th...Im not sure and I sure as hell don't want to chop to soon or late, so I thought I'd drop some pics to see if I could get ur opinions, all the pistols have gone "Orangy Brown" let me think what else, well here's some pics, let me know if there's anything else I can add to help determine your opinions. Thanks a ton.

The trichs pics are nice trippy and cool but just a little out of focus. I'm no weed genius but from what I see they look ready? I thought I saw a little red, and mostly cloudy. My hesitation is that you're at 7 1/2 weeks and I think white widow could be a 9/10 week variety or somewhere around that? Are those pictures the top buds? Are the lower buds looking the same? Are you considering a staggered harvest? Plants look nice.

Hey @raggyb ,thanks for stopping by, I believe your right on strain flowering time, and I've decided to wait a bit longer, I'm gonna try and take the whole plant if I can but if the top buds start to turn to amber consistently I'll chop them, ,I've posted these pics over several sites and have consistently getting same answer from growers with some time under there belt to keep holding off till I see better consistency in cloudy trichomes....so here I am waiting impatiently lol

It's a bit harder to tel because of the purple hue but I would say that your plant is almost ready to be chopped.

When in doubt, harvest a small nug for a smoke test

Smoked some I let dry for a cpl days it was a small buzz, but it was from sucker budz off bottom, do grow lights effect color of trichomes under scope?

If you tried a small popcorn bud from the bottom, then it will have less thc than the rest of the buds.

Yes, it affects the color that you see but only when that light (for example an LED) is directly over the bud/leaf that you are looking at with the microscope.
