colorado growing!

ok so this is all newb q's but here we go!
-when growing out doors how do i get my plants to flower if i cant controll the sun?
-i want to harvest my bud this summer so i can smoke all summer. is it posible:)
-is growing out doors hard?
-the weather in colorado! is it too dry?too cold? when can i start for the earliest harvest?(keep in mind i can grow in my house tell they get stinky)
-what seed?
-i can keep them indoors tell they start to stink
-what other things should i know about out doors?
-do i keep them in pots if im growing in the woods?
i will think of more q's i have later

You have a lot of researching to do. This forum has all the info you need. Its really not that difficult to grow some dope outdoors though.
I used to live in winter park Colorado. If your weather is anything like winter park you will need a autoflowering strain.
I recommend iranian g13 from dr.greenthumb (google it). Finishes 90 days from seed and yeilds 3-8 ozs

Don't expect much in the way of yield in most of Colorado..The growing season isn't long enough.

there seeds are alot is that how much they usualy are?

Find someone who can supply you with well established clones..The first year I grew outdoors I started late, but had 18" clones I planted june 10th, I had to transition them to outdoors for a few days, but then I was cool after that and harvested as late as I could hold out...your problem in CO. will be the early first frost dates...your ladies will take some frosty mornings..but too much will kill them.
I paid 15 bucks a piece for the clones (but that was 4 years ago).

Yea. They are worth it but you might want to try something cheaper for your first grow.
Btw. I meant to say Iranian auto. Thats the 90 day one. The iranian g13 finishes mid September wich might be too late for you

Ive never had a problem ordering from greenthumb. Theres lots of good strains out there. Attitude seed bank has a good selection

if you worry about ur moms then you should wait a few years...
but if you still want to try.....
kc brains seeds are like $20
they suck (imo) but there are $20...
can't you find some bagseed?

manatuska will finish here outdoors if you veg it inside but it looks like if your entire grow will be outdoors you may want to try some autos and hope it doesnt frost early this year.....i am planting outside too this year around 11000 ft ( dont believe things you hear) it can be done and has been for many many years, just a little attention to nature and alot of fundamental knowledge and youll be well on your way, good luck young gun.

Small greenhouse? You could extend your growing season substantially. Enough to flower and finish a few Indicas, even in the short seasoned Colorado.
