Commercial Interests

So, i was thinking, from a commercial standpoint, colorful strains have the most value to Joe Schmo consumer. So would the discerning gardener be unwise to add food coloring to his water for the plants? Would this have any adverse effects? I was just thinking, i've added food coloring to change the color of roses.... So i guess the summary of my question is, would it hurt my plants to add food coloring to the water i give them to boost their commercial value? (i realize this is shady)

this is a perfect example of what drives "joe blow consumer" into becoming selfsufficient, only takes away from big commercial man's profits, doesnt add to it.

why dont you just sell some good chronic that looks good anyway?

i think it would be pretty cool if i could change the colour of my weed to blue or pink, just like that...... and food colouring is not harmfull to people, its not like he wants to douce his weed in chemicals or anything !

each strain diff color < High grade
Mid grade always green with not alot of seeds in it
Reg alot of seeds,stems, dark green color
most all Regs comes from mexico and all the thc gets destroy cause of transportation and heat
most Mids comes from south side usa


if you want to grow a commer. strain go with hashberry its the best trust me

Thanks for responses, and i guess i should've seen the flak coming. But im not trying to pawn crappy weed off as better weed by making it a different color, i'm trying to change the color of good weed in order to create a commodity, its like a watermark. I want people to say, "lemme get some more of that pink stuff, that shit was fire" because pink(insert whatever color) is easier for joe schmo consumer to remember than "Shit the F1 HK Haze, thats some dank." Its like branding cattle, but different. Anyhow, as long as my water is still properly PHed, this won't hurt my babies right?

Although I dont agree with doing it, This does give me a question. Do you think people remember the color becouse the weed was good or just because they liked the color. I think the plant will not put the coloring in the bud but the leaves.
