common sense gun control, a solution looking for a problem

that there was a guy on the scene with a gun who nearly shot someone who wasn't the shooter?

yeah, that totally wasn't there at all.

Someone should shoot you. Maybe you will see the need. But no you wanna bring an axe to a gunfight. Yeah that's totally logical. For you.

Dude did the right thing hesitated because he wasn't sure....what part of "arrived after the shooting" don't you understand dam bro it's your reference...it was one guy and what if he was really close and knew for sure who it was...the brave lady that grabbed the clip would have shot him too. One CCW holder being nearby but not close enough to ID proves nothing except we need more CCW holders.

no, but i would propose common sense driving safety laws.

take the state of arizona for example. by putting in place common sense measures, they have cut down on DUI fatalities by 75%.

now, the NRA logic would be that since some people are gonna get in their cars and drive drunk anyway, why have laws against it? that's just retarded and part of why the NRA is being taken less and less seriously lately.

i prefer the common sense route. but hey, that's just me.
I agree with taking the common sense route too. Banning assault weapons isn't the common since solution though, it's a band aid. We need mental health reform in the US. And Buck, not every gun owner fully supports the NRA just to let you know.

The one thing i love about the NRA is it stands in the way defiant of the sheeple like Uncle Duck

not even the NRA agrees with the NRA. 75% want universal background checks at last check.

it's common sense that civilians do not need military weapons.

I have an old Goldwing that I like to ride on long trips. I have an ultra classic that I ride daily. I really don't need two bikes AND a truck. Please don't limit me based on needs comrade.

horrible analogy.

no one ever shot up a school with a motorcycle.

Bucky, keep pulling those numbers from your arse I love to watch you flailing in the wind, hopelessly trying to make some of your bullshit stick.

There's something about this whole thing you're not telling us, personally I think you're a convicted felon who "legally" can't own firearms so it's inline with your logic to shove your opinion down everyone else throats and have them capitulate to your childish mentality. Plus a weapon in your house might give your wife some ideas on how to stop you from sucking her inheritance dry...

Which is responsible for more deaths?

btw, nobody ever dropped a nuclear bomb on a school either, terrible analogy.
ORLY?

No schools in Hiroshima or Nagasaki, no?

Maybe America wouldn't pass the hypothetical "world background check" for a nuclear weapons license.

And they were used in anger too...very naughty.

I believe you're wrong about them being used in anger, they were used to keep emperor from committing every Japanese person to dying for his cause.

When you say "universal back ground checks" are you referring to the Tommey-Manchin bill?

The common sense thing to do is to follow the law of the land, the US constitution. There is no "needs" statement in 2A. Tough luck for the anti-constitution types. Don't like it, then amend the constitution.
