Compensation from patients

So from everything ive read on the Michigan legislation is you have to donate your marijuana to patients , but can receive "compensation", now does this mean i cant sell an 8th of medicine for 45 dollars but i can tell my patients i want 45 dollars for delivering it? I can understand if you lived out west where it would be a little to different cuz u can just drop a seed and the sun will take care of the rest but as we all know the east coast likes to have large amounts of frozen water on the ground also known as snow lol so growing indoors is a must and that shit aint cheap

compensation comes from knowing i helped them be a little more at ease with what is bothering them . its not always about the money

In america if you dont have it you cant live in this society independently" and Prohibition still exist 20 an 8th? i would only go that low if someone was really in pain but 45 an 8th is reasonable for the amount of work needed to tend those plants and the risk we take, state abiding or not the Federal government puts what your doing next to heroin, the DEA knows what there doing is wrong but without they dont have jobs, no jobs no money again its all about the money.

The short answer is yes, you can be compensated for your time and costs. The price point you decide upon needs to be worked out between you and your patient(s). Every situation is different.

If you cant produce it for less than $20 an 1/8th, maybe you should donate some cash to somebody who can! Not everyone looks at this hobby like a job. Some people grow to help sick people, some people grow because it's their passion. If it becomes burdensom, let it go! There is enough good people out there, that the donation cost is not a whole lot more than the production cost. I see ounces for around $250 all over Michigan. To me, that seems like a very reasonable rate, and i hope it stays that way, for the benefit of patients and farmers.

back to this old tired-ass thread again? When does it end? There are ghandis and there hitlers and everything in between. nobody is totally safe from the law. I get so tired of reading threads about this; it's going to spiral downward to a guy who swears he give away pot like johhny appleseed and anyone charging anything is a tool and another guy will throw a fit that it costs x to make and is sold for y to compensate. so...played...out...

$45 a 1/8 are you crazy, maybe in a non medical state, or a disspesary...

here in michigan it's $20 or less to there pateint or $25 to a card holder. shit, look on craigslist, they are selling it for $180 oz to anyone with a card, so they probaly only charge there patient $100 per Oz.

$500 per month in power and nute for 12 plants, 4 month grow time = $2000, 4 oz per plant = 48 oz = $41.66 per oz, now if they can grow good they can get 8-12 oz of a plant esspsally in hydro. so that makes it more like $20 per OZ.


so $160 per Oz is over $5000 in profit with only 4 ox per plant . how much money you trying to make?

I have 5 patients and they all get a free 1/4 oz per month and anything above that is 250 an oz for grade AAA meds. They are all happy and I cover their renewals.

Very similar agreement here with my people and this where the haters will begin to hate: more than once I got more than I asked for as payment. some people get that somebody did something and worked hard to make something from dirt and shun a free lunch. It's so rare but people are out therelike that. Most stories are about people trying to get or defending a free lunch or view that it should be all about the love or helping folks just to be kind but that is a 2 way street.

Meh. If your patients and you are happy with the arrangement, then fuck what anybody else thinks about it.

i guess i was just assuming i knew where this thread was going. i still get upset when i see dispensaries charge 20 a gram to people that have no where else to get meds from. but comparing them to hitler is probably wrong.
