hi guys! we are 2 growers that recently bought a new place together.
And after a few weeks the idea of us getting our own private growroom came up.
since we both have been growing for the majority of our adult lives as a profession,
we figured it made sense getting one at home would be a fun project to use our work
experience to our own advantage.
so we started planning out all the little stuff, like were to drag our ventilation and exhaust systems.
we went to the garage and got all of the material we had left after renovations and got to work.
so we started out removing all the coathangers and everything covering the walls, did some measurements and
started out with a bottom frame of 4,5x4,5mm(2x2inch), and added the corner pillars that was gonna hold the roof. We needed some space above the tent to be able to get our electricity and intake systems going through.
then we basicly just covered all walls and the roof with plywood.
and cut out a door In the roof that would allow us to access all the airvents and electricity controllers.
Then sealed all pockets with foam, and painted it all with a latex based paint that is keeping moist from penetrating the wood and causing mold.
We left a cabin in the closet that we would use as a germination chamber and also it would give us all the storage we needed.
and for the germination chamber we just cut holes that would fit our ventilation so we could keep them both going but without any lightleaks.
Then came delivery day!
everything we needed to get started, note that a lot of the stuff is not in this video but will be shown later on.
we got ourselves all lights and fans etc we needed, in the YouTube video description you can find all the specs for all our hardware used
in this build.
we put the orca plastic on top of the painted walls just to give the light a better reflection surface. highly recommended reflector!
added flooring to both tent and also our “Workarea”.
we had a small plant that we got from work because it was harmed in a falling accident. So we decided to use it to testruns before adding our newcomers.
it all went really smooth and we hope to be able to spread our passion for growing to a lot more people with this new youtube channel, so please give us a sub and follow our upcoming videos were we will be teaching you guys to mainline, LsT and a lot of other fun stuff !
Stay high, stay safe and be happy ! One love
