Compost tea and molasses in hydro

So I will be doing a simple hydro setup in a while with some white castle seeds I just ordered from Nirvana. I have used molasses on some lowryders that I grew in soil, and want to also use it in my hydro setup. I don't want to buy a bacteria/microbe supplement for the setup so I figured I would make a sort of compost tea to gain some microbes that can utilize the molasses. I figured I would start adding this mixture to the solution at the first sign of bud. I will be using a bubbler style setup with AN grow, micro, and bloom. Does this sound like a good idea?

I've used compost tea for a starting culture and nothing but fish emulsion and molasses as food sources in hydro before with great results. It does get pretty messy though, you'll need to clean your stones more often, and you definitely need to keep your res temperatures in check.

You'll save yourself a lot of trouble cleaning stones and recovering from root diseases (organics are not sterile) if you bubble your nutes and organic food sources in a seperate container for a couple days, and before adding it to your grow res pour it through a screen.

I recently switched to Lucas Formula because it's cleaner, easier and baby-sitter friendly. I've noticed a slight drop in aroma but otherwise the plants are actually growing a bit faster.
