I'm confused about the dosage used/needed for making brownies. I'm looking at this from an 'amount per person' point of view (assuming each person should only have to eat one brownie).
I've read over and over again the general "1 oz bud into 1 lb butter" rule. I wanted to use that idea to make cannabutter with a crock pot, and then use that to make brownies. The brownie recipe I have requires 1 cup of butter (2 sticks, a half pound), so I was thinking I'd use half oz of bud (14 g) into 2 sticks of butter. But then if that makes one standard batch (13" x 9" pan or whatever), and I cut it into 24 pieces (a standard number, I think), that means there is nearly 0.6 g of bud in each brownie. Well not literally in the brownie, but at least the equivalent 0f 0.6 g. That seems like a hell of a lot. It being my first time, I really don't feel like getting retardedly baked and passing out for a whole day (like some stories I've read). I'm looking for a good strong brownie high that will last for a few hours, but not put me in a coma or anything. Me and my friends are pretty light smokers to begin with.
So I guess my question is: what is the proper dosage? Would 0.6 g per brownie be correct? Or is my logic flawed somewhere in the math or something?
