Continue Or Change Genetics?

I have 8 Jilly bean seeds (non feminized) sitting in the dark cycle at day 7, call me crazy but I have been reading a bunch of BAD reviews on Jilly Bean, as far as end product.

I have 1 White Russian seed that is fem from serious seeds.

Would I be better off Vegging the White Russian to hell, and using it as a mother? I hear a lot of pheno talk with JB but not so much with WR.

I am beginning to think I made a poor choice with Jilly Bean, since I was aiming to have the smoke taste of the flowering smell.

The other contender I have is Utopia haze.


I am working with a 2x4x7 room, 400W CMH and 756W T5 side lighting. With this limited space I am very concerned with quantity, and have no issue using 6/7ft ceiling space.

I've only grown TGA's Vortex, so I can't speak directly on JB. However, the Vortex was absolutely top shelf. Here's my opinion: White Russion is absolutely amoung the very best with good yeilds and Potency. If you're running for maximum yeild, switch. If you're running for quality, I'd say you're fine growing out the JB but you wouldn't be any lower quality with WR, so it then is a question of what qualities you want in the end product.
