Controlling low temp with Paraffin heaters??? PLEASE HELP ANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My grow is in a garage so i have problems with too warm in summer and far too cold in winter!!!!!!!

Im getting about 20% yield if im lucky and have done for over a year now ready to give up even though ive lost thousands. Gr8 smoke but bad yield.

Temp now hitting about 7degrees at nite (-6 outside 2nite :{ ) even with 3 heaters set on thermostats. Heaters all running at about 3k each and usually blow after few weeks, did last year anyway.

Was thinking of buying a big paraffin heater for about 200 (which i cant afford) and putting putside the tent will this help??? and will co2 save my yet again poor crop??

ANYONE WITH EXPERIENCE OR ANY TIPS would be a life saver and greatly appreciated.

Are you using the whole garage or do you have it sectioned off? You can get cheaper paraffin heaters if its a smaller space for like 50 bones

Quartz/infrared heaters are probably the easiest option because they dont heat up the air just objects the radiation hits. Im not sure about pointing it directly at a tent(although Im not saying you cannot) but if you built a simple box around the tent and point the heater at that it not only it would be safer but also act as a mini "faraday cage". Trying to heat up the whole garage in winter is costly and pointless IMO.

Obviously i didnt man "faraday cage" which is something totally different, im not a native english speaker and pretty high atm so I got confused ;]] What i meant is a box inside a box(or in your case tent inside a box) where the air between outer and inner wall acts as a thermal insulator.

When I'm brought in to install a grow-room in a large unheated room I use 1" x 4' x 8' corolite sheets and I fasten it together with 1" x 4" boards using screws and a screw gun. Use weather caulking to insulate the joints. I put boards on the inside to fasten to boards on the outside, make L joints for the corners. Corolite is most often used in concrete and is more durable and cheaper than styrofoam. Corolite has a lower R value than styrofoam but is non-flammable. It comes in many colours including white. I have never been asked to install a grow-tent.

madmad aint got the money for Quartz/infrared heaters n dnt think it would work thinkn of insulating my tent with cheap insulation wat u reckon?

insulated box around the tent but dnt hav muny until next crop done in 6 weeks but d way its goin ther wont b much muny

birdmcbride id prob rather wait n get d money for kingspan to build a room due to fear of cops getn my crop n stickin my ass in jail
