Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart make for an unexpected friendship. The rapper and culinary connoisseur met back in 2008 and have proven to be quite the dynamic duo. They've hosted events together, praised each other in interviews, and collaborated on several TV shows, including their own — Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party. As Martha inspired Snoop’s appreciation for cooking, Snoop has introduced Martha to experimenting with cannabis in her recipes.
Snoop and Martha in the kitchen together mean cannabis is involved. Why save Martha's famous brownies for a post-high snack when you can eat them and get high simultaneously? Snoop and Martha turned her famous brownies into edibles, with a creamy chocolate icing to top it off (which can be cannabis-infused as well).
Expert Advice
Cooking with cannabis can be intimidating. In terms of achieving the perfect potency, start small and add on. When making cannabis-infused butter from scratch, it’s better to add a smaller amount before infusing the entire batch of brownies.
Buying distillate is preferable for baking edibles because of its potency and versatility in the kitchen. The distillate is easily portioned because of its specific THC or CBD percentage, making it beginner-measurement friendly. For example, one gram (1000mg) of distillate is 97% THC, which equals 970 mg of THC. If the standard dosage is 10 milligrams, you can make 97 edibles.
Pro Tip: Thoroughly mix the cannabis oil into the batter. You want to make sure it is evenly distributed among the batch so that every brownie will have a similar dosage.

⅔ Cup Cannaoil
2 Cups Sugar
1 ½ Cup All-Purpose Flour
3 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
1 tsp Baking Powder
½ tsp Salt
1 cup Chopped Pecans (optional for those allergic)
1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
Brownie Directions:
