T tokinman Well-Known Member Dec 15, 2008 #2 probably ok, but wont yield what you want. flowering is supposed to be under warm light/more red. the cool white is blue. again you can do it but the results wont be as good as if you use a cfl with a better "red" spectrum. hope that helps some
