hey hows it going rollitup. just had few questions i needed to ask for my grow. this is my second grow last grow i had heat problems was always in the 90's in my grow tent. the tents dimensions are 62x36x20, im using a 250 watt hps, i bought one 4 inch inline fan that i had sucking air out and had 2 fans in there circulating the air but still to hot. for this grow if i purchase another inline fan to blow fresh air in will that calm the heat down a little, without having to buy an air cooled reflector. another question had is should i buy two carbon scrubbers one to blow fresh air in and one to suck air out. or could i just get buy with one of them.

so your tent is 62 tall, 36 long and 20 wide?

if so, you need a cooltube reflector. you only need 1 6 inch carbon filter and fan, hook the filter with ducting up to one end of the cooltube, hook ducting up to the other end of the cool tube to your fan sucking the air out, attach ducting to the other end of the fan outside or wherever

you think id be able to push enough heat through with the 4" i got now and just buy a 4 to 6 inch connector for the cool tube. and what should i do about fresh air going in to the tent.

Use your fan to pull heat through you hood. Inline fans are not as efficient when used to push air.

Try a passive intake first. Use a small axial fan to pull air out of your tent from up high and let passive cool air come in from down below. If you are worried about smell then purchase a carbon filter and hook it up to intake side of your hood. Pull air from your tent through the filter, through your hood and then exhausted out by your fan. That will create negative pressure in your tent and pull air from outside into the tent.

i actually have a 4 inch duct fan from last grow didnt really do much but should i use that to push air in and push it out through the cool tube with the 4 inch inline.

i got a cab i built myself about the same size as yours. mine is 63 tall 33 long and 20 wide. i have a 400w cooltube in mine with a 4 inch carbon filter and fan. with the reducers, its a tight fit to get the ducting on there etc but it can be done as i did it. i live in the south and i can touch my cooltube. on the opposite side of the bulb its cold and right underneath the bulb its warm like a regular household bulb.

edit, i should also mention i got 2 4 1/2 inch passive intakes.. i had a 4 inch duct booster in one but it kept blowing dust and shit in so i took it out.
