Cooling my dry tent - is this nuts?

Put a hepa filter in the duct. Got a small circulating fan on bottom. Humidity was only 40% here so I put a small humidifier behind the intake fan. Using 6in exhaust with carbon filter. About to load up a bunch to dry…

thoughts on the duct to central air route? We keep it about 70 degrees. That room climbs to 80degrees plus during the day so trying my best to keep it 70 or below in the tent.

Your dry tent cool?

Ducting your AC straight in may be too much airflow resulting in too quick of a dry. You may be better off with a few cardboard boxes. I keep mine cooler with some frozen water bottles swapped out every 8-10hrs. Allows for a nice, slow dry.

Yeh frozen water bottles is a good idea. Been running it this way all afternoon and it’s 72 degrees inside with only 47% humidity- it’s very dry here in NorCal. I tied the inside of the tent hole too so it restricts some air flow

I think you got something that will work. Once you put the crop in your humidity will rise a bit and you'll just need to keep it there.
