Coots style mix PH and mineral level

As I'm diving into my soil mix for the next round I'm seeing a lot of folks say to get a general mix going, get a soil test and then amend as needed.

My mix is basically made with the general amendments. I have a soil test kit that I'm gonna send off. I ran out of basalt and GRD, so have some on order.
The soil looks pretty good. I tested the PH with a slurry test to see where it was, and it was testing a bit high(around 6.7) Wondering if it would make sense to add some additional Peat to bring this down a bit before sending off soil to get a more detailed look on minerals and such

Send it off as is and then send off a mock batch if you where to cut it. I use to get 3 samples at a time OF straight out the bag, cut with peat and cut with castings.

I wouldn't do anything to lower that PH, it really isn't high and natural processes will lower it as you grow.
