My friend and father are both veteran growers and they have been selectively breeding for almost 20 years an they have some KICK ASS strains that are their product of years of breeding. Well as I type this, my friend and I are smoking a blunt and we decided it would be cool to sell his original strains. However, we are in the U.S so would it be possible to make a website that we could sell the seeds from and NOT get put in prison? We would sell the seeds for pretty cheap though. I can personally vouch for the fantastic traits of these seeds. Last year in his outdoor, he had a strain that he called Goliath OG (old mother sativa x Durban poison) x [(big bud x white widow) x (ak 47 x og kush)] in which 5/5 of the plants produced 3+ lbs. The smoke was amazing too. He isn't really in it for the money (although that is a factor). He just really wants to keep all of these strains going and wants to be remembered for all the work he did with cannabis.
Could it be possible?

It would not be the smartest thing you've ever done to start a seed company in the U.S. - at least if you tell people about it. Also, be aware that Rollitup's forum rules state clearly that you can not buy, sell, or offer to buy or sell, seeds, clones, plants or processed weed. Now if somebody were to PM you and offer to buy some seeds and you two work it out and you both accept the risks and responsibility of that transaction then we don't know nothing, right?
Actually in the post it says that we just want to know if it is possible to do it.
