So I've had a lot of trouble with my latest grow. I'm in week 2 of Flower and have 5 plants left(had some males/ plant issues), 3 of which look "ok" and the other 2 not so good & I'm considering scrapping the whole grow and starting over as I know I won't get much of a yield from it.
Basics:
Location: Hawaii, in a garage
Grow lights: Roleadro 800w LED's (2 of them)
Indoor grow: 4x 6 tent
Medium: FF Oceans soil
Nutes: FF Trio
#1. Diagnosis: My plants have the tell-tale signs of Russet or broad mites (from my research), but, I see these super tiny black dots and can't figure out what the hell they are. The leaves that they are on, warp & eventually die off. And none of my grower friends can tell me anything about them either. Anyone have a clue: is it one of the aforementioned bugs or something different?
#2 Prevention: So say I scrap this grow. I typically clean all my pots with dish soap & scrub the walls, lights, fans with bleach wipes, remove the bottom tent tray and clean that with soap as well. Once all this is done I leave my tent closed to dry with my fan on.
Is my cleaning regiment good enough?
Now as far as what I have on hand to use for prevention/ maintenance, here's what I got (also have a tiny bit of Mighty Wash left):
In my latest grow I basically sprayed my soil once a week with Neem, had a couple basil plants in there (to thwart White flies, worked a little) & used the Mighty Wash once I saw the above plant issues. I didn't use the Monterey spray yet & will admit, I should have started maintaining them much faster.
Are there any other products you'd recommend I should have in my rotating arsenal, or do you think these should suffice? I'm considering getting Ed Rosens No Tolerance spray as well and rotating all of them as this seems to be a re-occurring issue.
As you know with growing, I've spent a lot of time & money on my last two "failed" grows and want to be extremely equipped for the future, so I appreciate all of your feedback!
