I'm starting an ebb and flow system. Clones/ seedlings are in net cups with perlite ONLY (for now).
Water pump turns on once every 4 hours, for 5 minutes, and then recedes.
Using 2 60W CFLs and a fluorescent.. yeah yeah whatever...
I am using NO nutrients ATM except for 1/4 teaspoon of 'bloom and root' 9-59-8 mixed in 2 gallons of water in the res (just to get the clones rooting).
Will the perlite dry out quick?
The only hydro nutes I can find in my area by FF are open sesame, beastie blooms, and cha ching. which of these is the best? (I realize these are flowering nutes. I can't find BB or any other veg nutes around here!)
Also where can I find a good pH meter?
