about to flip to flowering, got 6 plants in about 10 liter pots all female

been vegging for about 2 months under 2 125w 6500k cfls

in a cab thats like 900mm*600mm and at least a couple of meters tall

----

about to buy and install the sputnik 2 cooltube reflector and a 250 hps

its about to be the hottest part of the year here tho and i am considering changing my dawn time so my lights only come on at night when it is a bit cooler.

my dawn time has been 12:30pm for the girls whole lives and i was going to install the cooltube and filter and venting and stuff (currently i just have the doors open and a fan moving air around in there) change my timer to be on 24/7 for a few days before finally turning the lights off for 12 hours and setting the new dawn time to be about 8pm with lights out @ 8am

is this the worst idea ever or what? 250w seems like the idea wattage for my space. the dawn time change will only happen after i have installed the tube and have definite problems with heat so dont worry i wont try to change it if i dont have to. just wondering if anyone else has done this as i never have before

thanks for reading:leaf:

temps have been 25c day / 21c night for most of the first 2 months and they have been about 28c / 24c for the last week since it has got hot if it makes any difference

A lot of people run their lights at night when it is cooler. This is not a problem. I think you should shut the lights off for 32 hrs. when you start to flower instead of putting them on 24/7. Either way you should be fine though. It will definitely help with the heat though. Good luck
