ok my 4 plants are 1 foot tall 1 month into veg. today in soil. i have them under 600 mh and going to switch to hps as soon as flowering. there very healthy nice growth. there very bushy im assuming because the light is on 24 hours and there is plenty of it so they dont need to streach for it. my questions are

1) there 1 foot now i have 4 foot upward of space Total to flower them. there not alternating nodes yet. when do you think i should flower them? also taking into consideration that i only have 600 watt for them 4 plants and i do want light to penitrate the lower part of the plant to get them buds growing good down on the plant to.

2)having a fan on them? i do have one on them but i do shut it off when the temp drops (because there growing in a place the outside temp effects the temp of where there at)? so intermittin fan blowing is this ok?
Thanks guys

I wait at least 2 months from when they started vegging (not from when they popped) before flowering. Most will grow uniform until flower time. since you are in the veg stage now is the best time to top them! this will make the bottoms grow out more but save you vertical space for when you put them into flower!
And having a fan on sometimes is better than not at all!

I don't have any experience flowering yet, but I have been taking care of the babies at work and have my own vegging for a month and in my experience so far you want to keep fans on to keep air flowing. Air flow prevents mold and I believe it to keep pests out as I have none.

ur 600w has nothing to do with how deeply the light is going to penetrate down, to achieve this u have a few options. u can lst any branches that r flexible enough to do so, u can top the plants & then lst the newer growth & as much of the older as u can, u can pull ur branches apart or stake them to seperate. or u can simply & gently pull ur branches out & apart as they grow throughout the cycle, I do this & my lower buds get great exposure to the light & develop nicely.

obviously & ideally, constant air exchange is best, but it is not an absolute necessity.

Im just kinda letting them grow i dont want to do not want to mess with them cuz this is my first grow and want to see how they grow before i play with them. so no trimming or traning. although i do feel like they would get better light coverage if i tilted my light to an angle and kind of cornered the plants in but i dont even want to do that there growing very healthy right now
