Court Decision Theory - VH

If Canada's legal system is runs on precedence. And most people agree that the legalization movement is most improved by key court decisions made possible by the circumstances of the crime. I was thinking wouldnt it be a good idea if we could create a list of profiles of cases that would need to go through the system favorably to reach legalisation. Once we know which cases we would need to go through and what the details of each case were, could we then not replicate them in the order necessary to reach our end goal of legalization?

so:
what were the key elements of cases that have already gone through favorably? what made them special when they went through the system? which judges would we need to go before? what type of people need to commit the crimes? where? things like that.

any ideas?
