I hope so...and if you have any positive information I'd like to hear it.
Unfortunately I don't. After reading the regulations and the hospital and nurses portion I'm just expecting some changes. Found it very odd that HC would even bring up the hospitals portion in the regulations.

The colleges (they are really bent out of shape right now) are going to push us into court and ultimately legalization sooner than later...
I know a group that has a volunteer trying to get arrested and get into court.
His own doctor won't sign, and the clinic that was going to do it was shut down. Class 1 under the old MMAR. Should be interesting. We know how the courts respond to lack of access.

I definitely need to do more reading on the subject. Not very well versed on this side of things as much as I am the government side.

Lets review...
Meth doc sinks 200k+ into new medical marijuana clinic, most of the cost is putting in a vault room. Uh...vault room?
When interviewed he said he wouldn't be charging patients, and that all the patients want to pick up their medicine from the clinic instead of the convenience of delivered to their homes...uh sure...
So no charge to the patients, but lets bill OHIP every month when the patients pick up their medicine....hmmmm.....
Nope, change in plan, $250 per document....uh....maybe I can still bill OHIP?....uh....no I guess not.
Don't know where your getting the 250$ a document

@leaffan what do you think of http://www.cannabinoidmedicalclinic.com/

when they open on july 2? Doc claims that some LP's have told him that they'll refund the prescription fee.
I believe that clinic plans on charging a yearly membership fee ($300?), for education, support, etc...So if the LPs are offering a refund it will be towards a membership at the clinic and not for writing the medical document, now commonly referred to as a prescription.
I believe that the "refund" offering is true although I obviously can't confirm this.

I had a nurse practitioner sign me up with a compassion club many years ago. I think if you look into remote rural areas such as here in Yukon where we have got fuck nothing for docs, that is where NP's are going to serve the purpose. I tell ya the way things are with the CMA I would rather deal with a compassionate nurse than a scared doctor.

I'd love to know a compassionate nurse :-P
None of the 10 provincial colleges allow it, wish I knew about up north.

Look at the Nurses Colleges. That old news is their current position.
You won't find policies for nurses in provincial colleges for physicians and surgeons.
Two different colleges.
The Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons has not yet released their new policy, but they have already started to visit certain doctors who are participating in MMPR document signing.
