Ok. Here we go. Hope I'm posting this in the correct place. If I'm doing anything wrong, please let me know. I'm looking to learn and minimize mistakes. First grow. Critical Kush and Pineapple Chunk from Barney's. Hydro. 1 light fixture, electronic ballast, adjustable from 150 watt to 250 watt. Bulb is 250 watt HPS. No topping, cutting, or trimming of any kind. Will try that next time. I know the strain info says that the Critical Kush will be between 2.5 and 3 feet tall. I've also been told to take strain info with a grain of salt. I'm looking to make sure that they end up between 2 and 2.5 feet as that is all I can accommodate at the moment. From the info that I have found it seems as though finished height is based on the height at the flip to flower. I know that there are some variables to account for when dealing with the finished height. I'm looking to find out what to expect from these strains as far as the stretch when I flip to the 12/12 lighting schedule. I've seen where the rule of thumb is double to triple in height. Should I expect double from the indica? Put into flower at 1 foot and end up at 2 or 2.5 feet? Or should I flip to flower sooner? Maybe around 8 inches? Any info and help would be greatly appreciated. On a side note, decided to post with this site because everyone seems very helpful. I enjoy reading just about anything Uncle Ben and Kite High post. Those guys really seem to know there stuff. Uncle Ben = guru. Thanks for any help
