Is it ready yet?

Ive heard that creamy trichs are for a high and amber are for relax

Well you’ve been a member here for a few years so surely you must know that many people on here are fans of long flowering times.
 
That's the accepted script, but I'm not 100% sold on that. From my experience I've found that when trichs turn amber they are actually degrading and dying. I wait until I see a few amber ones; that way I know that the milky ones are fully mature and the terpene profile is the best it can be before curing. I have two more outdoor plants that I'll be chopping tomorrow; they have maybe 20% amber trichs. I would have already chopped them but I don't have the space to hang them and I have new trimming scissors and an herb drying net coming in today.

Cheers, trouble is i cant see the trich as dont have a magnify glass. Would u say when most pistills are brown that is ready?
