crystals vs pistils for sex?

my has thc crystals forming on it and its still in vegging its going to be a month old on the 23rd.

there is no signs of pistils or preflowers as of yet but i thought i may have seen a hair but it was sort of purpleish since my strain is purple star.

my question is are the crystals a good or definate sign of a female? can males have crystals on the leaves too?

i have seen males with crystals too... i dont deal with seeds much mostly clones... but males do get trichromes too

anyone else have any input? it only has 5.7% thc in this strain... so are odds in my favor?

i just got a male that had mas tricomes in veg, i was so possitive it was gona be female to so i wouldn't rely on tricomes, it aint worth gettin ur hopes up

5.7% go get a real strain...... that kinda weed is not ever worth growing....
