Merritt College (Oakland, CA) is offering this community class, which is open to anyone, on Saturdays March 27 and April 3. This class covers ecological and sustainable best practices for outdoor home cannabis cultivation, integrating cannabis into your backyard garden, harvesting, drying and curing, and how to make basic topical and edible extractions. Cost is $120 for 12 hours of instruction and exciting industry leading guest speakers including:
Johanna Silver, author of Growing Weed In the Garden; Dr. Kay Watt, Botanical Geneticist at Dark Heart Nursery; Dr. Amanda Reiman, Vice President of Community Relations at Flow Kana; and Deidra Bagdasarian, Founder of Bliss Edibles and Extracts.
