Cupping clones

So I have clones that are in my cloning machine that are ready to be put in cups. Well I need to put them in cups for now cause I need to kill a couple weeks but normally I'm putting them right in 8 by the 8 inch Rockwall cubes. My question Is how can I put them in cups using the small Rockwall starter cubes? Back when I used cocoa that was the base in the cup but with just the little starter cube what else do I use to put in the cup? Should I use those drainage rocks? I'm talking about the solo cups btw
