Curing for "cbn"

Could one have a strain high in cbn and cbd if they let their buds cure long enough for the thc to degrade into cbn? So if I buy some and keep it in a jar will the trichs still change amber or is this only something that can be done prior to harvest? what would be the best way to store my buds (post harvest) to increase cbn. I am looking to cure to reduce anxiety. Thanks

I don't think it can be cured to increase cbd. It's best to start with a strain higher in cbd and ( don't know from experience but this is common consensus I believe) if you let the buds flower longer let the trichs turn almost all Amber and bent over is when the thc is starting to degrade and the cbd has a better effect

While I dont have anything scientific to back it up, I agree with Analog Kid. The cure will allow for breakdown and change in your bud, but im not sure if it would cause an increase in CBN. Also, once the bud dries out past a certain point it can no longer be cured really, just stored for long term.

There is a section for Harvesting and Curing on this forum, you could probably get a much better answer there from those guys n gals :) gl

Well I mean if the thc goes down from degrading then cbd to thc ratio goes up. So is it possible to still get cbn from curing already harvested weed?
