Curing in a mason jar?

I am curing in a mason jar. I have already dried. The stalks snap . I think the bud is a little too crispy, but! I have had them in a jar in the dark at 72 degrees for 2 days. The jars is air tight. I have been belching about 4 times a day. I have taken the bud out of the jars and put them back in to air the gases out. How long should I belch and how long should I cure for? Some say 1 week to 2 months. Will the bud get stronger in buzz quality after it cures? or just taste and aroma? generally how would you rate potency after dried only to after dried and cured? Thank you all for your advise. I smoked some today and I get a good head high. Not really stoned stoned taste a little green yet. I hope it gets better with time in curing. What ya think?

After about a week of curing, you can start burping once every 2-3 days or so. As for potency, i believe it may increase a little bit after a cure, but nothing significent. You wanna cure for 2 weeks minimum. The longer you cure the better though. I keep it in the jars till its all gone. lol

If it is that dry I would add a little orange peel, just a small piece. Check it out the next day and see if the moisture level is more to your liking. If it is, you can go ahead and remove the peel. I burp mine several times a day for the first week, but I don't let mine get that dry in the drying stage. I put them in the jars when the outside of the buds seem a little crispy but the stems will still bend without snapping. So far it has worked great for me. I like my buds a little on the sticky side. After the first week, I check them by smell. If I still smell chlorophyll, I leave them open for a few minutes, and check them again the next day.

Hey bud I dry mine all the way out till the point of feeling crisp on the outside, then I will take them trimmed and put those in my MASON jars, leave them for 1 day by then there will have had enough time to GAS and when you open the jars they will either still be super dry or they will start moistening a slight bit. If they are too dry put even a piece of lettuce in there for a few hours or so and that will add just a tad of moisture to where the crunch will start to go away. Repeat the process if needed it beats having molded or wet buds. My Jillybean came out perfect its just dried dense chewy goodness. Haze
