Curing..need some help :)

Hey everyone. Just successfully finished my first little grow with a lot of help from you guys! Haha.
Anyways I hung my stuff to dry for 4 days till they were dry on the outside. Now they are in mason jars. My rh seems to be around 68-70 and the buds seem to be curing nicely ( it's too fresh/damp to smoke good).
Any advice ? Should I let it dry more? Am I doing ok?
Thanks

Though I am new to growing, I am not new to harvesting, having been a paid harvester for a few years now (grower friend is disabled and also hates chopping).

I always use the rule of thumb of "dry until twigs will snap rather than bend". At that point I put them into mason jars but leave the lids unsealed so there is a gap - sometimes I just leave the lid open, sometimes I shut it but without the rubber seal, depending on how fat the buds are, how dry it is when it goes in etc.

Now, because I mostly vape, curing isn't quite as important, and I will start using the meds straight away, but I find it goes nicely in a bong with as little as a month's cure. It continues to improve up to around six months, then it starts to degrade.

So, after about a month I seal up the jar and open it once a week to let fresh air in. I stop doing the regular opening of the jars at around 3 months.

There is a lot of debate out there about the best ways to cure. I'm not saying mine is the best, but it works really well for me.

chop each branch down..i dont FULLY trim of all the fan leaf and foilege till there ready for the jar, so that all the juices and nute's fully drain into the buds...i usually hang them upsidown in a dark cool 60-75 area..and let them dry for about 5-6 days untill the branches are DRY enough to bend but not SNAP..then put them in closed mason jars for 3-4 hour intervals(which is going to bring out the excess moisture out of the center of the buds) then bring them back out to dry(process called burping)id do this for at least another 3-5 days, then after that you could prolly leave the cap on the mason jars the whole time for about another week(this is called curing) after that you should be ready for lift off...but remember the longer you let it cure the more potent the bud becomes

Eventually it starts to degrade, though it takes more than half a year from what I can tell. I normally smoke all mine within that time, but in case the op is considering long term storage, a word to the wise!

Yes keeping it in a room with around 50-60 humidity, and opening the jar after a couple hours will prevent your buds from receiving too much H which will cause mold and mildew

According to DJ Short, if the buds are kept in the dark in airtight glass, they can continue to cure for at least four years. “The long cure has kind of become standard operating procedure for me,” he explains. “I do periodically check them up until about six months. At that point, if they’re the same as at five months and four months, then I’ll just let them go until I’m ready to sample. Right now, I’m about to crack open a jar from 2009. Cured that long, the calyxes start to go golden and the herb develops some deep and unique characteristics, based on the strain. I’m actually curious what would happen if, like the spirits industry, we started aging in oak barrels – because anything you put next to cannabis, that flavor will be imparted to the herb

“It’s a lot like the aging of a fine wine,” explains legendary cannabis breeder DJ Short, creator of Blueberry, Old Time Moonshine and other popular strains. “The benefits of properly cured cannabis include even moisture content and a complete breakdown of chlorophyll, which allows the full, clear expression of taste and aroma to emerge

Thanks for the input guys..
I'm gonna try to get them all around 60 and open twice a day briefly. How long does it take to cure properly ?
