Curing problem

I'll chop down my last plant on 25 October and then at 09 November I have to leave home for a month. That means that I'll leave my plant to dry for thee or four days and then put it in jar open and close for just 10 days. Then what? I will be out for a month, do I have to leave it in totally closed jar or should I leave it semi opened?

Or it's maybe safer to dry it a lot, say for 10 days and then leave it for a month in the jar, it should be pretty dry to get mold..

You can easily dry enough and burp it in that time before you leave. Or you can use different methods of curing. Is it just one plant? If it's not ready to jar for good a day before you leave, let it dry out with the lid open or spread out and you should be fine.

Have u tried them?
Ive been using them for about 3wks now and everything is looking good. I opened and checked the buds a few days ago and they are doing very well. They seem to be holding steady, not too dry, not too moist. I'm not going to give you a guarantee about them but so far they are working great for me- no burbing needed. Try Googling- curing cannabis with Boveda packs- the are a few threads about this. Good luck with whatever you decide.

A few people here swear by the humi-paks. Unless it's humid where you are, you should have plenty of time to dry & cure. Just make sure there's airflow when you dry.
I've been using SimonDs method on my last 7 girls & have dried, jarred & stabilised the humidity in the jar within 10 days.
Get a mini-hygrometer to put in the jar, it takes some of the guesswork out. Mine cost $6-7 from china, I just googled 'mini-hygrometer' to find them.

The only circumstance where you might not have enough time is if it's raining & humid, which means longer drying time. In that event I'd over dry it & jar. If you leave the jar open your at the mercy of an uncontrolled environment - if it's dry & hot your bud will be crispy. If it's wet & humid you run the risk of mould.

I live in quite hot Mediterranean place, so for how many days do you think I should let to dry?

Go by feel. I've had pot dry in 2 1/2 days. If it's dry & warm then 3 days, 4 max to dry in my experience. If the bud feels dry, jar it. Especially when it's dry & hot weather, the smaller bud will dry before your main cola. Then check jar as per thread instructions. My last plant, a White Widow, there was a difference of 3days between jarring the small bud [day 1] medium bud [day 2] & 36 hours later, the main cola.

Bloody Chinese! No wonder I got free delivery. I ordered 4 different models & that looks like one of them. $6 it cost me.

I'd buy more of them, especially at $2.72 a piece, they work well & are reasonably accurate.

I bought 20. :D

They all read within 2-3% RH of one another.... not bad.
