Curing question

Okay, so I know there are guides to properly curing your marijuana, but I decided to ask here instead, so I could get a variety of opinions on the best way to do that.
I just cut my plant down, and its now hanging upside down in my closet.
What steps should I take from here on out to ensure properly cured marijuana?

Seeing as how I've already read that, and its posted on countless other sites on the net, anyone else got any opinions?
Those articles are very one-sided, and poorly written as well.
