Curing Smell

You need to dry and store with lights on like bk, :wall:

JK man. But seriously, what's your ambient RH in general where you are? Here it's really low, so even with it in a closet with a humidifier it still dries faster than what's optimal. So I need to jar sooner, and burp the jars a little daily for a bit. I also like to leave the lids a little loose the first day or 2. The smells do change a bit, but it should still smell good after the process is complete.

I totally agree that a 2 week dry is optimal though if you can pull it off. It's just tough here.
It's crazy because the RH stayed at 60 with a temp around 62 to 65°F. I watched a ton of videos about the stems snapping. I made sure of it. Now that I think about it, I only snap tested one plant and assumed the others were the same. That was a monumental mistake. I'm ready to start my second grow with the more knowledge to lean on.

They mighta just been put away a little early in jars, I will harvest my plants, pluck the fan leaves off or any long tailed leaves and then hang for minimum 14 days in a dark tent with very light passive exhaust through a carbon filter, I keep the tent around 65-70 °F / 55-60% humidity.

After trimming the weed on day 15-16 it goes into a large plastic tub and sits out in the open for a full day before I consider sealing it in jars/containers. I'm betting the weed was too moist to go into final cure and now you're stuck with whatever it was when it went into the jars.

I'll try that on my next harvest. Definitely looking for a bigger tent. I want to grow 6 to 8 plants this time. 2 sour, 2 fruity, 2 highly potent and 2 chocolate if I could find it. I want to try some edibles the next time.

So far people really like my end result. Gave away half. Was offered to sell all of the rest, lol. I kept for my wife.
