try to find a way to naturally get the humidity down to 62% before jaring with Boveda IMO. 8g packet per oz material (boveda 62%) I like to take it out of the boveda jar and put about 1-2 days worth in a jar without a pack to let it dry up just a tad more before consumption. Works great.

The 8 gram ones are sufficient for the quart sized jars. If you don't burp before adding the bovedas the lifespan of the boveda pack will be significantly shortened by causing it to "work" more. I like to do a week of drying, a week or so of burping (starting the week burping 2-3 times a day and down to once a day towards end of week) and AFTER this pop the boveda in and seal the jar up for as long as I can without opening it (I try for two weeks). Works really well for me. Good luck.

I have been using the boveda62 for about 6 weeks now and i love them but have found that origanally i would put about 1oz per quart jar per 8g boveda which was working fine or i thought untill i tried another jar with only 14 grams per boveda and i like the way my bud is much better.

i still hang my buds for 4-5 days untill they dry and then i trim them up and into jars with the boveda.

also i do still burp for the first week or 2 just to let whatever gasses the buds are producing out and fresh air in.

do you guys think if I use one of the advanced nutrients dry racks and keep my humidity around 55-60% and temps around 70 the buds will dry slow enough to produce smooth smoke?
