Nearly finished...
First, my Bubba F2 x Deadhead OG F2. I crossed these to try and increase the flower-to-leaf ratio of the Bubba and to try to get some of the Deadhead's soaring headiness to mix with the relaxing CBD rich Bubba's effects. The plants look almost identical to their Bubba mom - there's a bit more stretch but it still grows fist to golf ball size nuggets - so my first goal was not achieved but the buds smell of both parents - skunk/berry/fuel - so i may still be able to hit the target on the second.
And here's one of two visually distinct phenos of a Querkle x Snodawg BX (there is a third pheno that is identifiable by smell only) that i am testing for a friend on Cannetics. First the Snodawg dominant pheno - there are actually two different phenos that are visually indistinguishable; one gets the standard Diesel lemon fuel funk odor while the other smells of grape jam. I tried a sample of the fuel smelling pheno yesterday after bending a lower branch over and, with all white pistils, got really really stoned. The breeder tells me that the grape jam pheno is even stronger. Looking forward to this one finishing, but it's 3 weeks out at least.
Last, but not least, we have the Querkle pheno. This smells of lemon gum drops and produces piles of huge calyxes with a touch of purple. Looks interesting but not as interesting as the Snodawg phenos. Faster finisher, looks like it will be done around the New Year.
