cutting back light 24/0 to 18/6

Hey so recieved some clones and the guy told me to keep them at 24/0 lighting, however im a firm believer in the dark cycle so i would love to cut them back to 18/6..will this hurt my ladys? will they start to flower or any other adverse effects? also does it matter that they are about 2 weeks old and 8-10inches..thanks!

i'd go 20/4 that big of light change may freak em into flower imo. peace and good luck!

You can change right to your desired light cycle. There's more room for experimentation with that kind of thing in veg. Where you don't want to mess around is in flower. No worries - they won't go into flower until you switch to 12/12.
