cutting buds to fit into jars

i was woundering if my buds didnt fit into the jars can i cut them up into smaller peices and fill jars half way or do i need to jar them whole.. thanks everyone

i have read somewhere on here that is was best to leave the buds whole and not cut thats why i am askin.didnt mean to stir anythig up.just concerned on how im goin to jar them

its my top colas that wont fit into the jars.would i be able to cut these in half to make them fit?

start at the bottom and trim up the stem.

I have a few glass pasta canisters with a rubber seal similar to the one in the picture below reserved for the main colas. I'd rather keep the more gangster colas whole lol Just remember to keep them in the dark so you don't degrade the THC.
