Cutting off the big leaves in flowering ???

My plants are about 4 weeks into flowering now and the plants have some pretty big leaves. I was wondering if i should cut them off. Someone told me to because they will drain the plants bud making. Is this true ? Should i cut the big leaves off of my plants ?

i may would trim back a few but na, dont cut them all off or nothing. gotta recieve good light

i read you shouldn't cut the fan leaves unless they are yellowing and dying naturally. they still offer the plant lots of energy and might stun the plant if they're cut off.

I trim the snot out of em. If they shading a bud they are history. They still got plenty of leaves for the photosynthesis deal. Just my view of course. Other opinions may vary. I heard some of these dope heads claim the fan leaves support buds. I think some of them may be smoking wacky tobaccy or something. I think the light should be used to make buds not big leaves.

...but what if the fan leaves are producing energy and sugars to support huge bud/resin growth..?

yes bigwheel ur correct by saying you can still get photosynthesis but the fan leaves absorb the correct energy the plant needs to be able to make those big buds. point taken, trim your leaves, but dont go overboard
