CXB3590 LED - less smelly?

Hi there,
This is my second run with my DIY 300W (6*50w) cxb3590 led.
Ive heard before that people were reporting much less smell in flowering.
So far, I"m at the 4th week of flowering with Exotic Genetix Black Mamba and the smell is down to a minimum.
I currently dont have carbon filter and for the meantime it looks like I might not need one.
I'm partially disappointed due to the lack of terpenes (The advantage for me is that it doesnt smell and growing is illegal where I live) and wanted your opinions regarding the matter.
Can you support this claim regarding the CXB3590 or CXB3070? Maybe its with all leds?

I would imagine its down to less IR light, plant is not getting warm like it would under HPS. Could also be the strain.
I cant remember if its @RM3 or one of his friends who grows under florescent lighting and says his plants never smell, he also says the smell is related to stress on the plant which would fit with the lack of IR and lower temps. Sorry if I have rememrbered the wrong person @RM3.

Recently I harvested my first grow with COBs, smell wasn't huge but it was exactly the same in flavour and smell once cured as it had been previously with HPS with the same strain.

Get yourself a filter because your going to need it at harvest time. If not before.

Dunno. I'm running 330w of Citizen 1812's and my plants are getting pretty potent. The second I open the closet door my whole apt stinks. I manhandle the hell outta my plants though so that could be a contributing factor.

If I won't be won't be satisfied with the results I'll some ir light and see how it goes.. ;)
