Hi all... i wanted first to say thanks for all the help i have received from this forum. It has been invaluable to say the least.
Now for the details....
This grow consists of 2 parts, first are strains that were intended to be solely indoor and were started out as so. These consist of 2 feminized bcn diesel seeds from kannabia seed co. which are a cross of nyc diesel and OH YEA... malawi gold baby! lol
This makes for an amazing mellow fruity aroma mixed in with a noticeable diesel background.
Also 2 yumbolt 47 feminized seeds from legend... one of which i have spoken about on one or two other threads here. This is probably the crown jewel of this endeavor because of one thing and one thing only... ONE OF THE YB47'S
(yumbolt x ak47) actually turned out to have some very interesting characteristics. By this i mean that after training it in veg to about 7 main stalks.... one of the main stalks turned out to have albino characteristics. about 1/5 of the leaves on this stalk are either about half white or the center blade of a fan leaf will be split vertically green/white!!!!
I had done searches on this and have found evidence and pictures of other albino plants but it seems to be exceedingly rare and I plan to take a clone off of that stalk to keep these genetics going. For those that doubt my claim i have the pics to back it up!!
Also i got 2 strawberry blue fem. and 1 nyc diesel seed feminized ... the latter of the two was a bonus from attitude.
The nyc is absolutely insane along with all the others which all have claims of at least 20% thc.
All of these were started out under fluorescent light... mostly 6500k but a couple 2700k.... about a total of 400 plus ACTUAL WATTS... NOT FLUORO TO INCANDESCENT EQUIVALENT.
They were then put into a flowering chamber that bore 5 105 watt 2700k fluorescent lights that were typically kept about 3-5 inches above canopy. From what i've seen of these high power fluoro's i would put this setup against a 400 watt hps any day since i can get sooo close to canopy AND... we're talkin over 9,000 lumens per bulb in a more useable spectrum than hps. Now i don't wanna get into the whole debate over which is better cuz i'm of the opinion that they are both very useful given wutever situation u have... the problem with fluoro growing is that people tend to just get the low power ones and run a small setup.. however i was running 525 actual watts between the 5 bulbs a mere couple of inches above the canopy and my min/max thermometer/hygrometer showed a daily high of 76 degrees and 55% humidity and not one leaf ever ever browned, yellowed, or turned brittle. They were all perfect.
Back on topic tho'.... after flowering for about 3 to 3 1/2 wks and after they had all started budding nicely i was forced to move to outdoors in early-mid June. They all stayed in flowering nicely even tho' the light wasn't at 12/12 by any stretch of the imagination.
There is also another plant... a clone from a previous grow which is an ak47 cross that was almost immediately flowered after being taken. It is the first to finish and i will be posting finished pics in the next few days....
Now for the pics!!!! First of course is the albino... i think the pics speak for themselves for any doubters and even tho it's albino on many leaves there is also small nug bud just under the main cola on the albino stalk that has some white calyxes too!!!! So here we go for some albino... other pics of other plants comin asap but enjoy!!!!!!!!!!
Lemme know wut u guys think about the pics going up plz! thanks again!
