Dark period before my second harvest?

I'm struggling with what to do here with my second grow. My plants are ready to harvest basically, they have been flowering for 75 days. Should i do a dark period for 24-48 hours before harvest, does it really make major differences? My plants were last watered on Sunday so they'd probably have to be watered today if im going to leave them longer. Is the dark period bro science? Does time of day matter for harvest? My lights go on and off and 8am/8pm. Could I harvest tonight a few hours after lights off? Would it be better to wait until I could harvest close before the lights come on? Appreciate all responses/tips for harvesting

In my experience I didn't notice a big difference when I did a dark period at the end of flower. Now when it comes to when to harvest the best time is right before your lights are supposed to come on. It is my understanding that resin production is at its peak right before lights on. As far as the darkness thing tho best thing to do is do it for yourself and see what you think. Best way to learn is to experiment and gather your own conclusions

Yes do the dark period. Makes for more resinous flower.
