Darkening of leaves after yellowing?

My plant has just started getting it's second set of serrated leaves. So yesterday I noticed the first set was starting to turn slightly yellow so I moved my grow lights a little further away. Now today I noticed that the yellow parts turned dark green and I'm unsure if it's a nitro deficiency or if the plant is just healing from light burn.
Running under (2) 1300 lumen 26 watt bulbs, only nutes fed were grass clippings for nitro and eggshell water 1 time. Running on a 24 hour light cycle. Lights were 8 inches from plant until I noticed the initial yellowing, then I moved them to 1 foot.

Take a photo and add it to your original post so folks can help you out. Give info on if you have fed it any nutrients or not, what it is planted in. What light your under. Lots of other stuff but at this stage a few basic bits of info are required to increase the chances of folks been able to help you out.

Your lights should be fine. I see what you mean about the colouring. I wouldn't worry to much yet. Make sure there is some air blowing gently across her and keep doing what your doing. I'm not sure how much N the grass cuttings will be providing until they actually break down but she shouldn't need much at this stage. Those baby leaves will provide food for her, they will go yellow before all else if she wants more Nitrogen.
Someone with more experience on growing purely from seed may chip in further info, I only pop a few seeds every so often and then grow from clone.

So what your saying is that the cotyledons will be a good indicator of a nitrogen deficiency?

It would not be fair to say a deficiency, it is usual for them to yellow off as the plant feeds from them, but as they do that will indicate a good time to start a low dose of nutrients/feed

Alright, I think I got it now. So its best to just keep doing what I'm doing unless I run into any other issues. Thanks for your help

Is that grass clippings? you only need mulch out door to preserve the water in the hole/pot from the summer sun and keep down weeds, indoor its a big no no.

They're to add nitrogen once they start to break down, I actually ground them up and put them back on as a near powder after I posted this.
