Hey what's up RIU, been away from here for quite a while... so I figured I'd show you guys what I have been up to!

The Cabs:

The Veg Cab:

5 PC Fans powered by Fan Speed Controller, powered by jump started PSU

Shared extraction until with other Flower Cabs




LED Flower Cab:
16" x 33" x 69"
Split in half, one half with 180W, the other with 200W custom built COB Panel
Shared extraction with other LED Flower Cabs





Extraction Cab:
8" Vortex Fan
8" Inline Filter
8"-6"-4" T to split to both Flower Cabs

Veg Cab:
PeakSeedBC Babies- About to go under the 200W COB Panel. I believe they are a Texada Northern Lights and a C99.




Jack Herer Mother- About to take about 5-6 clones off of her, 1 maybe 2 days from now, just waiting for more to fill in.

Looks awesome!! Great build man, super clean. I can't wait to add my second cab to get a perpetual harvest going.

How is that fan on noise? I have a cheap 6in inline, looking to upgrade.

Thanks! The vortex gets a little loud, but I have a variable speed dial and run it at about 50V and I can't hear it outside the grow room. Noise was my major concern being stealth, and I have since added plywood and insulated the Ventilation Cab to prevent even more noise. The majority of which is the airflow itself, this newer vortex model is very quiet when dialed down, not much vibration. If I had the room I would add a silencer to dampen the rushing air but I sleep less than 4 feet away from it, so I think its alright haha, hope this helps!

Red Poison Auto- she has been fighting my LST so I had to tie her down even more, this is by far my biggest auto so far, and a ton of bud sites, likely will be pollinating her soon










Kush Skunk- confirmed female. I took 3 clones right before she showed sex, so I'm happy to say one will become a mother, I love this plant. Exactly what my other LED cab needs

I'm guessing you never had any problems with the led's bleaching your buds, is that a myth or is it just caused by shit led's

Nice setup and buds. A few questions, what kind of temperature did you see in your cabinet? how high did it get? Also, is going the DWC medium worth all the work over soil? might try that next time around. I am a tropical fish guys too.

I have had some small bleaching from my UFO but only with certain strains, lately I haven't noticed any with the girls I've been running, and the buds are touching the diodes in my UFO Cab. I notice that they burn more when I spray with water so I do that with lights put nksnow, and no issues

Usually bleaching occurs from too much LES light intensity at too close of a distance, not necessarily from shit diodes. I went with 1w diodes when I built my UFO because I know the Leaves would be touching. If I went with 3w diodes they would all be burnt to shit almost guaranteed.

All of my Cabs hover right around room ambient temp. The hottest being my UFO Cab, and the hottest I've seen it get in a while is 82°F. Mg big extraction fan takes care of any heat building up. My new LES panel is cool to the touch, so the cab ambient temp is the same as the room.

As for the DWC, well let's just say I used to grow all my veggies in coco or dirt, but now whatever I can grow in DWC is heading that way. The growth rate is much better, and it's actually very easy to maintain. About once or twice a week I change the res, and that's it. Take 5 mins to change a res, I set pH a little low around 5.3 because by the time the air pumps add more dissolved oxygen to the water, the pH will rise slightly to around 5.8. Seems to be working great.

I'll get more pics of the girls on the go in a few. First I have 8 jars of fungus to inoculate before I head into the cabs

And this is what I got on the go now...
I am starting my own little breeding project, will be creating my own line of strains over time, and starting up my own little seed bank. First I'll be working with some autos, and slowly working my way over to my photo genetics.

I am after strains that will help with my medical conditions- chrons, ulcerative colitis, and celiac. So over time I'll be investing in my own HPLC lab equipment and test all of my plants for what cannabinoids and terpenes that specific pheno has.

Every single seed will have its own code, and will tracked in high detail via pictures and spreadsheets. So get ready for the ride, things are going to get interesting around here...

Here are the first 4 participants in this experiment.


They will all be transplanted into DWC this evening. They are 72 hours old here
