day 19 cfl closet grow some lovely girls

This is 19 days after my first plant popped the soil. Had a scare for a few days. I was getting really bad dead leaves on many of my plants. It was either really hard water with low Mg and high Ph which I corrected with epsom salts and MirAcid. I might have also over fed them with superthrive. Thankfully the problem went away. I am very happy with the progress so far. Nice bushy plants. I am using fairly small 1 quart containers. I have to watch them really close because the plants drink up water. I have to check them every day and water about half of them every day.

In the closed closet the temps were getting too high. Above 90 degrees. Now I put in a small oscillating fan and crack the door a bit and the temp stays at a nice 75 degrees. I have ordered an AC 80 mm cooling fan which should get here Friday. I will cut a circular hole in the closet door put the fan on a cardboard tube filled with activated charcoal. This should vent the hot out and the cool in more effectively than just having the door cracked. I have never grown indoors before. I don't know how much the charcoal will help the odor but I will also seal the front door to my apartment and have all the vents and cracks around plumbing etc. sealed.
Fortunately I have a downstairs neighbor who smokes a bit of weed and uses tons on incence to hide the smell. The neighbor I am worrying about was joking with me about it today. Any smell escaping my place, he will assume it is the girl in the basement.

any plans for lighting the sides of the plants ? or are you just lighting them from the top?
I am using flat white card stock printing paper on the walls and floor. The top of the hood is painted flat white. I understand that flat white reflects light just as well as mylar.
