Here's the information you were seeking:
https://magicalbutter.com/recipe/decarboxylation

You need a separate decarboxylation step and they tell you how.

Temp seems a little low to me, I have not done it personally but I am researching it for possible alcohol extraction.
I set my oven to 225F and baked for an hour. It worked quite well in my alcohol extraction. The instructions above use a little higher heat for lesser time, you end up in the same place. I did stir during baking.

I am looking into a homemade sous vide setup in order to keep the neighborhood from reeking, my buds are really strong smelling and I don't need the cops showing up. I saved the sugar leaves also. Better temp control than my gas oven also. I saw another site recommending 240 for an hour, which I planned on doing.

I have a concern that may or may not be real. It is that decarboxylation generates CO2 gas as one of its products.
So, depending on how much of a charge you put into how much plastic, your packages might swell or even split.

I'm a chemist and I calculate that an ounce of weed should produce about 75 ml of gas on decarboxylation. I don't have practical experience with a setup like you describe. I could be mentioning a non-issue. But I suggest you experiment with single packages and with package sizes.

Otherwise, i think it's a gonzo idea.

I planned on starting small and seeing how it works. I don't have a vacuum sealer but I have found you can take a ziplock and immerse it in water and "burp" it to the point there is very little air in it. Never know until you try...
Do Ziplocs stand boiling water? I ask because I have made some very bad plastic bin/dishwasher decisions.

That would be another part of the experiment I guess, I often thaw frozen meats in the hottest water I can get from my heater in ziplocks and have no problem. Guess I'll get one to temp and see first.

I've vacuum sealed ground up dried buds in boil bags and tied spoons to the rolled up bag so it would sink. Leave lot's of room in the bad. A 11 x 6 piece for a quarter zip ground works nice as it will expand. I boil it as slow as I can for an hour or so. I've used a small $10 crock pot also. Works great for decarbing. Then put into capsules if you like after it cools. I haven't made them in a year or two. Since retirement. I actually read it somewhere on riu a few years ago.

Thank you for the actual experience! Although envisioning @raratt 's boiling bags exploding on him did tickle my funny bone.

I had planned on putting a metal colander under and over the bags to keep them from floating, and off of the bottom of the pan. I have a candy thermometer to watch the temps.
