Deceptive billing from MSNL seeds

I decided to buy some seeds from MSNL. Seemed like a good deal, but come to find out the shipping was $17 which is bad, but I decided to go with it, and then my card ended up being charged $7 more on top of that. I contacted them and they said their banks in china, and the extra charges were the exchange rate. They don’t say anything about that at check out. I told them that is deceptive, and they told me tough shit. Ended up not being a good deal.

Do you have a copy of the invoice for your purchase? I didn't see any mention of extra charges on the webpage.
 
I don't understand the problem.
You knew upfront that the shipping was $17 and you accepted it...........that's cheap by the way IMO........I've never bought anything that ships for free.
You must understand that exchange rates change regularly.........I've had orders change a few dollars before with other types of overseas purchases.
So your whole beef is $7?
I can't tell you within $7 how much is in my pocket.
 
I know someone who's never had any issues with registered t-shirt postage.

Their auction site is a great deal -- and winning is fun.

From their website:
"Outside EU it cost 35 for T shirt postage registered, 20 without T shirt and without registered.....
Inside EU it costs 13.50 for registered."

Exactly being over here one would expect Europe or something not a chinese processor for card payments i dont trust that much myself either

I am noticing a lot of companies small and large doing skeemy stuff like that. The pizza place I like going to now hands you the receipt and taps the tip box with the pen like putting you on the spot to tip them, I gave no tip last time cause I don't like being pressured to tip for someone handing me a pizza that already was overpriced. They STILL CHARGED my card $20 even though the order was $18.35. Not even enough to complain about but goddamn everywhere stealing dollars.
