Defeciency?

So this is my first time growing hydro, it's been 2 weeks since seed cracked. No nutes yet given although I have been giving humex which is just to help spread nutrients throughout the plant more efficiently, guy at the hydro store said this is good to use anytime. Anyway. I've been ph'ing down the water to 5.5 but every morning it's back at 6.
Ppm is near 70 just regular tap water let out for 12 hours. Temp is always 78-82 and humidity is 30-35. I don't know what these small brown spots are on the leafs and also lower leafs are yellowing. Is it time to feed? And if so what and how much? Should I also get some cal mag? I understand as it gets older these small spots won't matter, but i am trying to achieve perfection start to finish for a much larger grow coming soon. Thanks for the replies here are some pics

Yeah, you gotta get them on some low dose feed. Also, you have an "overwatered" leaf structure which in hydro translates to not enough o2, so either root rot or rez temps too high or not enough bubbles.

hmm Rez temps could possibly be it, what is optimal temperature?

Not sure what optimal temp is but if your over 70F you can do better. Cold water holds more O2 than warm water.

lol , the leaves are the least of your problem. Your water is too warm. Period. Those roots are too young to be brown and slimy looking.Aim for 65 degrees for water. I would say kill them off figure out how to get your water temps down, dry run it for a day or 2 then start again

Dry run and kill them off, completely amiss of these terms. Sorry I'm new to hydro. Cut the roots off and remove them from the water for 2 days? Best guess, thanks for the. Reply!

Ok I just realized I had black tape to cover from the light which is retarted because it absorbs all the heat. I now covered the hole Container in reflective tape and also put the container into another container where there is about 1.5 inches of free space at the bottom. I put ice in there and the temp has stabilized at 18 Celsius around 65f

Try to run your system with out plants to see what temps you get thought the day and night cycle. Yo want the water to be 65 or at least as close to taht as possible definitely under 75 If you popped some new beans you are maybe losing a week , if you fight to keep this plant going it might cost you 2 weeks or it may never recover.


It you try to save it get some H2 O2 / Hydrogen peroxide in there to clean that mess up .

It was definetly the Rez temps. It has stabilized at 67 farenheight. Ever since I lowered it the roots have whitened and grown dozens of hooks on each main root. Plant has grown another node 100% healthy and is now growing vigorously. thanks a lot for your replies.
