Deficiencies in autoflowers

Hey guys I have some deficiencies on one of my Northern lights Autoflower.
I grow in coco coir and I feed once a week. I use general hydroponics flora bloom and micro, and CANNA cal mag.

My feeding per gallon is:
Flora bloom (0-5-4): 8ml
Flora micro (5-0-1): 4ml
CANNA Val mag: 1.5ml

I always ph my water in a range of 5.8-6.3.
Does anyone know how I can fix this deficiency? Thank you for the help!

I could be wrong as I am not a coco grower.....HOWEVER, I do believe you need to be feeding much more often in coco then soil per say. She does resemble having a calcium deficiency off first glance.
I feed cal mag with every watering but I also noticed a deficiency from the beginning but not much has improved

In coco you feed every watering with nutrients. Treat it like hydro not soil. You don't let it dry out like soil. Calmag each watering doesn't provide NPK or the other micronutrients.

Do you think I should feed that schedule at half amount every day or that amount every other watering?

You may need to flush them. Did you flush them? Could be nute lockout. Im having that issue currently

Why not try feeding everyday @ recommended doses like the scientists who created the nutrients suggest, before feeding once a week with a "bro science, forum created" feed schedule and see what kind of results you get.

My money is on "better"...

I use fox farm trio and now started using cal mag as well. Is it ok to feed them with nutes every time? I usually heard thats not good to do

Boost the cal-mag to 3ml and add 1/2 teaspoon epsom salt to the mix! If you are growing anything with afghani in it, it will be a magnesium whore!

#1. Because nutrient companies way over estimate the amount of nutrients your plants need so you use more product
#2. When they make those feed schedules it's assumed you are achieving maximum DLI and perfect environment.
#3. Autoflowers don't Need the same nutrient levels as a photo period.
#4. He's growing in coco. That requires more fertigation's at lower ppm's per dose.
#5. Most of the "scientists" tell us the recommended doses on bottled nutrients are very excessive.

Hey Spragga, with coco you need to feed daily with every watering and get about 10-15% runoff. You shouldn't have to go past 600-800ppm with autoflowers. Letting COCO dry out and not adding nutrients every watering will mess up the cation exchange. So light feeds more often. Check the PPM of your runoff to make sure you don't have excessive salt build up in your soil. It should be close to your input.

1. If you owned a nutrient company, wouldn't you want your products to "work" as expected so people would continue to purchase your products?
Why would you give bad information on using them?

2. So if you're not achieving the best environment for your plants to grow you should also 1/2 starve them to make it better?

3. I guess I missed the part that specified how the ruderalis gene lowers the plants nutritional requirements...

I just mixed up a reservoir of GH Trio with Calimagic for week 5 according to their feed schedule

2.5ml calmag/4 micro/1 grow/5ml bloom in RO water. It's a 1.2EC, so good advice on the 600-800ppm...although it's a bit high according to those scientists who are just trying to push their products... :wall:

Thanks for this table that helps a lot since it’s my first time growing with this nutrient line

You know that isn't the actual direction on the bottle right ? You just 100% contradicted yourself.

So don't follow the directions on the bottle and use the "bro science forum created" one you posted ? But If I just blindly follow your new feed chart they forgot to take into account my water source and I would be feeding them 300ppm higher then I should have been. Or follow the bottled instructions and feed almost 1000 ppm over because it must have been the "scientist who created it" making that suggested feed chart.

There's no bro science here bud....

Obviously I'm correct and you need to do more research than just trusting public forums to solve your problems.

Edit.... OP... up your CalMag to 3-4ml per gallon and it should help.

Yes , you are correct in the fact that the forum posted chart you put up is better than the Instructions posted on the back of the bottle. And that was my point from the very start, following the bottled nutrients instructions will have you using way more nutrients than you actually need. Just think it over a bit, the light will click to the on position at some point.
