Hello gentlemen,

So I picked up a few clones a couple weeks back that were two weeks old as of 12/16. Two have been doing fine and any problems that have arisen I've been able to adequately handle but for some reason these two I cannot put my finger on it. I've tried a few different things but alas to no avail. This is going to be my second run, so obviously am still learning. The plant in the solo cup is the freshy, however. This one was acquired just on 12/29 and immediately exhibited the worst symptoms. I put them into empire builder soil but realized how much water retention it has so I resorted to my previous soil which was FFOF, but that did not alleviate the symptoms one bit, so I popped it back into the solo cup after noticing some of the roots had gotten brown and now the roots have been looking healthier but with the same consistent problem as in the picture. The leaves have turned a lime green almost yellow color with a couple of the leaves having green towards the tips but the fan leaves are fine for some reason. The other plant was growing fine in the empire builder but i chalked that crap due to the water retention it has even after being cut with roughly 1/3 perlite. Now it is in the FFOF as of yesterday (12/31). They are both in rockwool but I'm new to this thing and used rapid rooter with great results. This rockwool I'm not feeling too much due to the amount of water it holds but that's another topic for discussion anyways. In total I would say the one in the pot is a month old while the other is only 2 weeks. Yesterday I changed the soil from the empire builder back to the FFOF which is also cut with perlite roughly 30-40% and gave it a normal dose of nutes. I know FFOF comes preloaded with its own nutes as well as high amounts of N. I also know that there is a bit of burn on the leaves, but I cannot for the life of me figure out what on earth the problem is with these two clones. I've been watering roughly every 2 3 or 4 days depending on how dry the soil is with the one that you can see in the actual soil and the other is just wet in the rockwool. Oh, I also dipped the roots of the clone in the solo cup in the nute solution and left roughly a millimeter or two of that on the bottom of the cup which has helped with the roots but not with the discoloration. I also noticed that the stem on the one in the solo cup feels a bit flimsy, so maybe too much moisture? The humidity is roughly 40% so I know the plant would be taking in more from the soil or whatever medium it is growing in so I'm wondering if maybe that one received moisture shock or something of that nature? Also, the light I'm using for this here is a 125w CFL which has been most of the time about 6 inches away from the plants and around 8 inches from the one in the solo cup. Any thoughts gentlemen would be greatly appreciated :)

well, there are two different plants mind you so I'm not sure which one you are referring to? But I did just put the one in the gallon into that pot and afterwards it will go into a 3 gallon but for now it's in that one. I highly doubt it's a pot problem lol no pun intended

looks like a container size issue to me too. once you transplant it should go away when you give it food or dirt or whatever your doing with them.

word I just transplanted the one in the pot into that size so I guess I'll wait and see what happens but what about the one in the solo cup? That's the one I'm most worried about right now

and surprisingly enough when I transplanted that plant the roots were not even much farther than the rockwool so I'm lost as shit as to how it could be a container issue :/

so i read the post. the conditions its showing are probably due to transplant shock/stress from going back and forth so many times. id just leave em be for a while, sit on your hands and try not to worry.
